If you’re watching a playlist of videos on iOS Youtube app, the video exits full screen when switching to the next video which is super annoying.
Luckily, there’s a solution! u/rtw314 shared the solution in Playlist iPad Full Screen : r/youtube :
For anyone else who stumbles here, the fix is to close the playlist screen on the right when you’re not full screen. For some reason this will prevent it from closing full screen but will still keep playing the playlist.
I confirmed on 2024-09-19 that it does indeed work. Such a relief!
