Potluck is my semi-universal card deck, designed to fit into a pocket (practically a backpack) with the ability to play a ton of different games.
I designed it to help me play more games while I travel as playing games is a great way to spend time and meet new people. I started with a small collection of my favourite games and designed the cards around them and then added new games as I could.
I have written about the process in a three part series: research and design, the deck and the workflow.
Ever since I got the deck in spring 2023, I’ve pretty much never left home without it.
