The quality is excellent. I was worried how scanning + reprinting a watercolor painting would turn out but it turned out excellent. I am very satisfied with it.
Process
I scanned the picture in A3 size with 600 DPI into PDF.
In Affinity Designer, I created a 24″ x 14″, 300 DPI canvas, imported the PDF and resized the image. I cropped the scan to fade out paper lines and changed the background into the same color as the white-ish edges of the paper.
I exported as png and uploaded to the shop.
