January 31st, 2026, we played an 8-player, 3-booster draft of Avatar: The Last Airbender set.

It was my first time drafting a Magic the Gathering set and unsurprisingly I went 0-3, losing all games 0-2. But it was fun! I didn’t do much research into what to draft because I’m so new to the game but I had two main lines of ideas with the deck I ended up with: 1) drawing cards with Clue tokens and using that draw to boost my Otter-Penguin and Knowledge Seeker and 2) Uncle Iroh making Lessons cheaper.

My MVP was Geyser Leaper with Waterbending 4 to draw a card and discard a card.
