Gridfinity is an open source grid storage system designed by Zack Freedman that works on a 42mm by 42mm grid size. It’s been inspired by Alexandre Chappel’s similar but proprietary system.
Zack released it in 2022 in Youtube and the community adopted the idea and have built hundreds of models and tools that fit the system. Searching for Gridfinity in different 3D model platforms like Printables, Thingiverse or MakerWorld yields a countless amount of community-built models.
Gridfinity Generator is a web app that makes it easy to generate base grids and bins based on dimensions and various other elements in an easy to use interface. (It also supports Multiboard and Honeycomb Wall System.)
