In Little Chef: Cozy Cooking, each level is a cozy puzzle sandbox set in its own unique kitchen. You’ll unlock recipes by experimenting with ingredients, mastering hands-on cooking mechanics, and solving environment-based puzzles designed around the space itself.

Little Chef: Cozy Cooking is a game made by a small team of developers/artists that was released in Steam Early Access mid-March 2026.

The game starts with you moving into your new college dorm and the roommates aren’t very kitchen-savvy so they welcome you to take care of it.

A cartoon style drawn kitchen with food items and appliances on shelves with a two heater stove and a sink full of dirty dishes.

You’re given practically no instructions but just a kitchen with a bunch of food items and appliances, a todo list and a list of dishes with no instructions on how they are made.

You then start dragging and throwing food stuff into a pot and heating it up. If the combination matches one of the defined dishes, you unlock that and once you complete the todo list, you can move on to the next scene.

It’s a really cute game with its art style and the whimsical dishes and other things you can make from the combinations. It’s also a puzzle game in a very “think outside the box” way which I struggle with.
