Muse mentoring (MUUSA-mentorointi in Finnish) is a model created by researchers at University of Turku and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
The new musementoring exploration inspires participants to develop themselves with the guidance of a self-chosen musementor. The mentor’s group with the musementor embarks on a growth journey, with its direction and destination shaped by the group itself, supported by the project facilitators. Through the shared experience of community and inclusion, it is confirmed that everyone is needed. Together, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
It’s a group mentoring concept where the mentees (or musers as they call them) get to choose their mentor (rather than being paired by the organisers as many other programs do) and the groups become peer groups that meet and help each other become more courageous with following their dreams.
